playing around

Went out with the family to the grandparents' home 45 minutes from the city. And in between eating and chattering, I'd decided to whore myself out of my phone cam in the bathroom. All resulting to crappy photos from my VGA phone cam.

Wore my favorite dress out. Got it at the Friday-Saturday night (flea) market for a mere 35 Php. It runs about an inch or two from the knee and I'm too tempted to cut it to mid-thigh. I'm currently obsessed with anything short.

One good thing about this piece is I can wear it anywhere. Top it off with a jacket and I'm good to go on any occasion.

title change

Why the title change? Indulgence101 wasn't (so) me to begin with. Now this is random. This is so me. It's better now. Tolerable, even. Yes, for a title.

test driving

Test drove my new-old, dark ankle laced-up boots tonight. I've decided it's perfect for rainy days. No water would come in it. Bought the pair two days ago from my new favorite thrift store, Isla Fashionista.

I suspect I'll be wearing them quite a lot in the coming days, weeks even.

At the moment, the only thing I can manage are photos from my mobile phone, a Sony Ericsson T250i.

Better than the usual smokey eye that extends out the lids, to be honest. I've attempted to get this look for quite sometime now until I decided to go neutral. Will definitely give this another go.



While we're on youtube, here's something I've been stuck on recently. I just saw the whole vid on Channel V earlier. The tune has had me hooked for quite sometime.

I've slept enough and although it's only 4 a.m., I'm not going back to sleep.

I've been MIA too long

I have gone MIA too long. You could say the blog's gone hiatus. But I haven't really gone anywhere but here. I'd only finished school March this year so...there.

Currently obsessing on: knits and t-shirt dresses. I found one shirt dress at the night cafe last week. Hardly spent a fortune on it given it's vintage. I also just purchased this from the UkayQueen. Oh and recently, I'd been acquiring a lot of jewellery. Either I'm the one who bought them or my aunt gave me them. I'm currently, internally debating with myself whether to get or not to get the Erika and Snake rings from here. I imagine they'd be awesome when worn together with something edgy yet simple.

Good news! I'm getting my own camera! Finally. It's a graduation gift from my aunt and her family. It's only point and shoot but I suppose I can do a lot of things with it. Outfit shots will be added to this blog thereafter (Yey!).

What to do now that I've graduated? I haven't given it much a thought. Though, I'm definitely going freelance writing. (Not yet teaching.) The blog stays and I've been cooking up online store keeping with a few pals-slash-business partners.

Before ending this entry, might I just say...the new Mario Testino shots of Kate are awesome! Kate Moss graces the cover of Vogue Paris for June-July. I've been lurking on the fashion spot forums recently. Have to admit it's become one of my favorite sites to go to where fashion is concerned.
