day in, day out

(photos courtesy of JM and Gino)

thrifted lace cover up, Levis cutoffs, wifebeater, random rings and bangles, Forever21 cuff, thrifted boots, straw fedora from Vietnam

Headed to Silver Rain right after lunch at Yellow Cab, Ketkai. I think I ate quite a lot given it was pizza. Margaritas were all around at our room at the KTV bar. Shooting followed a little later with JM and Giraldyne. Best day I've had so far. Doing more shoots in the future so do stay tuned! ...or something like it, anyway.

happiness that come in a pair of wedges

(8daysaweek @ multiply)

This is bound to make me happy. I think every kind of shoe does. I was aiming to get this one. Sad it's all sold out---in all colors. I'll settle for this, for now anyway. I think it's perfect for any girly night out with some girly dress in my closet.

I think we've already established that I'm a shoe whore. I'm turning into a wedge-, clog-, and (chunky) platforms-whore however. I'm fancying sky high heels so much more than flats these days. Probably won't get over this one.

Oh and it doesn't even matter that I wear them when I'm only riding jeepneys and motorelas in the locality. Contrary to popular belief, I'm a lowly freelance writer during the day and blogger during the night hence I don't really get much compensation for the work I do---not even close to being a multi-millionaire of some sort. I suppose one can only wish...

I'll definitely test them out when they arrive on my doorstep.

On another note, Christmas is fast approaching...what to get for myself and some precious others, eh?

$91 Cordell Dress

$151 Eden Jacket

$84.70 Slub Jersey Hi Lo Tank Dress
Wilt via Shopbop

Guess who slashed prices on some fashionable finds? Yep, Shopbop. I often go there to window shop, perhaps next time I'll actually go and get something nice from there. My favorite has to be the Slub Jersey Hi Lo Tank Dress by Wilt. It's something I can wear in a country that's seemingly perpetually sunny. The only cold weather we get here that's still not apt for layering and banking on a whole lot of outerwear is during the last three or four months of the year wherein it'd usually rain much.

Some of the sizes are gone so you might have difficulty looking for those in your size. I know my size is usually already sold (XS-S here) which is a sad thing, really.

I must say I'm a rather big fan of Nicole Richie's Winter Kate line. I also like her House of Harlow jewellery line. And if I were to describe my style, it's bohemian, laidback. Nothing else seems to suit me having lived all my life in a perpetually summer-y country like the Philippines.

Anja Rubik by Camilla Akrans for Vogue Germany October 2010

(fashiongonerogue)

One hurdle after another. Now I'm thinking of studying something else. Studying never ends for me, I suppose.

Amazing editorial from Camilla Akrans for Vogue Germany. I just love the feel of the photos. Don't you?

I have no idea what my fall wardrobe should be like but it's already fall. In here, it's like rain-sun-rain most days, hardly the usual cold fall days in other parts of the world. Envy people to death who can layer and bank on faux fur coats and others during this season. Sucks so much that I can't.

scanlan & theodore ss 2011 lookbook

(refinery29)

Australian designers are amazing. Stumbling upon this made my day, really. Erin suits the simplicity in Scanlan & Theodore's beautiful pieces. She even wore this out to the New York fashion week!

I personally love the first, fifth and fourth pieces.

fringe obsessions

I never really got over my fringe obsession. This top from Forever21 ordered online is also soon to come to me in perhaps two months' time? Yep, another one of them fringed tops.

What I love about this is the material. I didn't go wrong choosing this top/vest, I suppose. Perhaps it's a top-vest hybrid? I'm not sure what to call it. It's pretty cool, though. It'd work for any costume party with the Wild, Wild West theme, too. I'll wear it out sometime, though.

Craving for other things other than fringes these days. The weather has become colder hence the craving for oversized sweaters. Topshop seems to have a lot of them.

under the velvet blanket of stars

oversized tee, thrifted; random jewelery

Worn out to dinner with the family and close family friends last night. It was pretty rad dining out under the stars before the rain started.
