10.10.10 obsessions

My current obsessions:
1. Cheap Monday Samantha Shorts
2. Stolen Girlfriends Club Cable Knit Shorts
3. Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Wood in Black via Solestruck

I'm, I think, currently obsessed with actually having leather shorts in my closet. It'd make a nice addition to my staples and a change from the usual denim shorts I wear most days. The JC Foxy Wood reminds me of one of Jessica Simpson's T-strap heels. The heels may be high but then again, I'm mostly a heel wore. As for the cableknit shorts, they're lovely. I do adore Stolen Girlfriends Club's collections.

Lovely rain outside. Weird how I'd just woken up and had late dinner for antibiotics. I'm on it after my dentist told me I had to before the trip to her clinic again this Saturday.

Staples

denim vest, Old Navy; denim shorts, gifted; tee, thrifted Theory; suede bag with studs and chain details, (favorite local) thrift store; flats, gifted Roxy; random accessories; wayfarers, Raybans

My staples on a regular hot day out would always include a vest. It's the one thing I have in abundance in my closet, I suppose. Outerwear like vests and some lightweight jackets. They're usually the easiest to pull out and style especially when you're in a hurry or you're merely having a regular day out with friends and such.

It is eternally summer here so there's not much options on what to wear. I'm trying to do my best searching for cool casual wear, though. I'm currently loving on anything LnA, Kain and T by Alexander Wang. I love how they're so apt for the weather/climate in this part of the world. I bet they'd be great to take with me on that trip to Bangkok with dad, an aunt and her neice who's a good friend come December!

rainy day out

sweater, Mango via Mango Outlet; shorts, cut-off vintage/thrifted; opaque tights, local department store; random rings; random cross necklace

It rained hard outside, I couldn't leave the house for Friday's usual piano lessons. The upside is that it was cold enough to don the oversized sweater I'd bought from the local Mango Outlet two days from my birthday. I love weather like this. I could only wish it continues being this cold.

mixed berry yogurt ice cream

(photos c/o Candice via my cam)

99 girl shirt, j crew tissue tee, xhilaration skinny jeans, 8daysaweek flower-print wedges, random rings and bangles, converse cap, thrifted vintage scarf as belt

Went out for ice cream today and ended with mixed berry yogurt ice cream over at Missy Bon Bon. I think I might have to carry on wearing sky high heels. It was amazing bringing these things out. There weren't a lot of mishaps with them. I think I can manage walking in heels regularly as long as they aren't as pointy and thin as stilettos---I still want to walk (and maybe run).

My friend (and ice cream date), Candice and I were talking about how the city's becoming more and more a dangerous place right now, I thought the massive heels would scare people with ill-intentions away.

flowers and sky high heels

Actually terrified wearing thes things out. It's the sweetest (and only---at the moment, anyway) 5"something heel I've got next to my 4-inch ones, though. But...I'll definitely bring them out. They're peeptoes.

Freepeople and catalogues

Virtually leafing through the Freepeople virtual catalogues. I would say they have amazing catalogs with equally amazing styling. The venues they shoot their photos in are amazing as well. One of my favorite online shops to window shop in. But I'm pretty sure I'll be buying a few off of them sometime soon.

Definitely a quick post this time.

Cleobella

(revolveclothing)

I'm rarely into bags (because I'm mainly more into shoes) but this one just takes my breath away along with the others in Cleobella's section at Revolve Clothing. This could complete any bohemian look in mind. Seriously.
